We are The Freudian Slips Experience. We embrace the wild, weird and wacky spirit of the 505 and infuse it with sultry seduction to create fully curated and custom ecdysiast experiences. Our experiences are more satisfying than a cigar!
La Lorena
Belly Dance
Coming in at a whopping 5’1”, La Lorena is an award winning dancer, choreographer and show producer specializing in Theatrical Fusion Belly Dance. Her love of thrilling and risk taking prop work, combined with her wild expressions make her a very memorable performer. She co-directs The Desert Darlings, and teaches several classes at Sirena Studio throughout the week. You can find her performing regularly throughout New Mexico at venues from rustic breweries to fine dining restaurants to magical train rides.
Stacia Vu
Burlesque * Flow Art
Stacia Vu is a queer artist from Albuquerque with a background in cabaret, comedy, and burlesque; with years of active performance and producing experience in the Albuquerque scene, achieving two titles to date. They are an instructor at Black Widow Pole arts and business owner of Gilded Belladonna Creations. With a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, long-term goals for Stacia are developing an OT dance curriculum and adaptive equipment/techniques for disabled and injured dancers.

Katie K. Is an indigenous drag artist who is a former Mx. NM Pride 2023. During their reign they focused on issues pertaining to indigenous communities & helped raise funds for the Red Nation. They also have had their hair featured on S17 & AS10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race & in local scenes across the US

Hiraeth Honey, /hir,īTH/ The deep longing for something, like a home or memory that can never be again. Hiraeth Honey gives you that feeling when she graces the stage, giving an experience that will make you remember for a lifetime. A burlesque performer for almost 10 years in Albuquerque and even venturing out in Colorado and Texas. Graduate of Aveda in 2013. She’s a part of Dark Honey Productions, being the artistic eye with workshops in the making. She’d love to try and teach how to leave that everlasting experience for all. Her inspirations come from the backrooms of Hastings, watching her favorite films and even quotes those iconic lines all day long. Just like an Quinton Tarantino panel and color scheme, she try’s to capture herself through a camera, the focus, the light, the glitter, the seduction, the perfect soundtrack moment."

A cute contrarian, she is a little panache and a whole lotta sass. She’s a co-producer of the Freudian Slips and has been a kitten and a stage manager for over 15 years, making her Albuquerque’s head cougar in charge….it’s Rita Smut!

This Indigequeer, fat, foodie lives out fae teenage drama dreams; bringing you wildly unreasonable, illogical, and inappropriate characters. This award winning stripper is the New Mexico Entertainment Magazine Burlesque Performer of the year for 2024. Putting the quirky back in Albuquerque, she’s a co-producer of The Freudian Slips Experience in Albuquerque. She’s your easy, greasy, beautiful butter fae…Juni Beurre Amie!
Violett Femme

Violett Femme got bit by the burlesque bug in 2015 while in classes at Studio L'Amour in Chicago. Since then, this academic turned ecdysiast has graced stages across Chicagoland, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and the Persian Gulf. With legs as long as the Rio, this tall glass of water is here to quench your desires. A pillar of a woman with thighs to match, it’s Violett Femme!!!
Mimi Mimosa

Mimi Mimosa is a burlesque performer who ran away to the desert and never looked back. In her burlesque, she seeks to embrace all that is "too much" about the feminine - to celebrate the sluts and the crazy ex-girlfriends - and to be unabashedly, madly, femme. Mimi first kittened a show in the summer of 2018, and since then has kittened and produced all over Albuquerque. Sparking, sweet, and served up tall, it’s Mimi Mimosa!!!
